Next Top Model

If you remember, a couple of Fridays ago was Deepavali, which is a Hindu holiday. Well, in honor of that holiday we had "wear your best Indian outfit" to work day this past Friday. I had planned on wearing my sari and after watching this video, I thought I could wrap my sari pretty easily. Oh contraire!!! I tried the night before to practice so the next morning I wouldn't be running around like a crazy person, but by the end of the night I pretty much had it in my head that I wouldn't be wearing the sari. So, I chose a different Indian outfit. For those of you who may have forgotten, I borrowed several outfits from my aunt because I knew we would be going to India while we were living in Malaysia, which we did.

The outfit was a big hit!! I got so many compliments!! We even had a fashion show to see who could sport their outfit the best!!

As you can tell I work with a bunch of silly people. Well, the silliest are Hafiz (the guy who won) and Danny (the guy who did the little dance). They are constantly joking and cutting up, which makes work so much more fun. Danny is our Business Excellence guy and Hafiz is our Account Manager and having the two guys in charge as the goofiest is the best!! So, I said all of that to say this...Danny decided that he was going to have SSI KL Next Top Model Competition.  He sent out several emails leading up to the big announcement.  Then he announced that it was Hafiz!!  They are so goofy and the emails went on and on. Hafiz and Danny "argued" over email about this. HILARIOUS!!!

Later, that day we took our group pictures of everyone that was dressed up.
