Sunday, Gary preached about being a sheep or a goat. Christians are in the people business and if we aren't taking care of the people around us how will people be able to see Christ. We are like a pendalum on a grandfather clock. Sometimes we are doing all of the studying and praying and other times we are doing all of the service projects. However, we need to be balanced and be able to do both. He did a wonderful job.
Then just like every first Sunday of the month at the Wangsa Maju church the men have their meeting and the ladies have a Bible class. Sharon Lee is our teacher. She is an American who has lived in Malaysia for 30 years. She is an amazing teacher and so wise! She did an awesome job bringing out different aspects of the story of Elizabeth. I will love those notes in the future when I can look back at them.
After the ladies class is over all of the women have to wait for husbands to get out of the meeting so we just hang out and fellowship with each other. Sharon and I got to talking and we talked for probably an hour and a half to two hours because I didn't even realize it was almost 5 by the time the men were done with their meeting. I love learning from her, not just spiritual things, but all things. She told me so many stories!! Why she doesn't like monkeys. Why there are so many orphan girls in Africa. Why Americans have a heard time adopting in Malaysia. The list goes on and on. After we left I just couldn't stop smiling!
Make a friend that is older than you and you can learn from!!
Happy smiling,

This is one of the reasons I love going to Ladies' Class so that I can learn from the older women! Love it!
