I have known several couples that have chosen the route of waiting until birth-day to find out the sex of their baby. I think it makes things very exciting and it's definitely something I might try when that time comes around.
Our family friends, Nick and Rachael, are one of those couples. They already have 2 adorable girls, Alora and Adeline, and waited until August 19 at 11:57pm to find out the sex of their third child.
I was unable to be at the hospital when the baby was born due to prior engagments I had on Saturday with my grandparents, but you better believe I was waiting by my phone on Friday night to hear the gender. I had started a week before painting the baby canvas and I decided to do a little different this time. Instead of the normal ol' stork canvas I decided to step it up a little and try to do the theme of the baby's room. So, I texted Rachael to ask the theme and she replied...
